Victorious
My trip home was great. I met my mom and my sister April for a weekend of "Wedding Planning" (dun dun dunhhhh). We met with lots of people who like to charge a lot of money if the word Wedding is in the title. It was a lot of fun though and we had a lot of laughs. My sister and I cracked up at the people and things that were just plain ridiculous...and my mom was just so sweet to help us get all of these appointments and things in order. She always makes everything great, and I'm really thankful she's helping us. Although, sometimes I do fear that this might turn into something that isn't Ej and I...but I think that's how every wedding goes. Everyone loves to give you their opinions and tell ya what to do. It's okay though, it's really fun to hear people reminisce about their love stories and their wedding days. I like getting to know the side of people you never see. My results: Cateror-done. DJ-done. Florist-maybe. Visited a creepy photographer, yikes! Not done.
You may be wondering...what am I victorious about? Well besides wedding things... I have graduated from Physical Thearapy! WOOOO HOOOO!!!! Yes it may sound silly, I know but it feels so good to not be bound to spending my time doing those painful activities. However, I still have to do them, just on my own time. I had to run a mile without pain and do some bending and straightening without pain. Sounds easy for a healthy knee, but for mine it was quite the challenge! I'm just so excited I passed. Praise the Lord!
Things are on the brink of being busy. Semester is starting up for Eric, my roommates, and our church. Although I'm not in school and haven't been now for 2 years (wow)...it still seems my life still revolves somewhat around it. I am struggling with being involved in our church. I want to be used there, but I don't have the desire to go to all those activities. I'm trying to find a happy medium...though sometimes being in the middle...makes me feel like I just never really decided. Anyhow... tonight I play volleyball!
Yes I'm on the team for work... we are called the SHS Sitting Ducks
Stands for Social Health Services. We've been losing terribly, but I really enjoy it. I have a feeling we are going to put up a good fight tonight! It's weird, I've never been into sports, but always athletic. One thing I have to say is that since I've been with Eric now for awhile he's influenced me well in the sport and athletic field. I tell you what, that guy really enjoys sports. And, best of all he's super encouraging to me to partake, watch a game, play a game, and get involved. I really like that. Anyhow...its time to go home and get some things done. It's chilly out here!
